Our Legacy of Care

Born from a visionary study by the Summit College Club in 1954, SAGE Eldercare emerged as a pioneering force in senior care. What began as a local council on aging has blossomed into one of New Jersey's most comprehensive eldercare organizations.

Our journey is marked by groundbreaking initiatives: launching one of New Jersey's first home-delivered meal programs in 1966 and establishing the innovative Spend-A-Day adult day care program in 1975. These programs have become models of excellence, inspiring similar services across the nation.

Today, after nearly seven decades of service, SAGE Eldercare stands as a beacon of hope and support across Union, Morris, Somerset, and Essex Counties. We're proud to be one of the few organizations nationwide offering a complete spectrum of eldercare services under one roof.
